What we will expect from you
- To attend all arranged meetings on time and to inform us if you need to cancel
or re-arrange.
- To treat all Luton Adult Community Learning Staff with consideration, and respect.
- To recognise that your learning and career is your responsibility and that although we can help you
come to an informed decision about your plans, we cannot make the decision for you.
- To feed back your views to us so that we can continually improve the service we offer.
Confidentiality
Personal information will not be shared with outside organisations other than our partner organisation Suffolk
County Council and our funding agency the Learning & Skills Council. Records are protected under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Note: Rules of confidentiality do not apply if there is risk of harm to the learner/potential learner or others.
A confidential setting is available on request.
Arrangements
Luton Adult Community Learning will try to respond immediately to your requirements.
We aim to respond to requests for information within 24 hours and within 10 working days to request a one-to-one meeting.

Free , impartial group workshops on learning and work opportunities, including:
- Job Search
- Interview Techniques
- CV Writing
- Completing Application Forms
- Skills Check
Free confidential face-to-face help and support with either a manager, teacher or a qualified nextstep adviser.
Continued support in signposting or referring you (with your permission) to alternative providers and organisations
