The Community Learning programme offers learning 'for the community, in the community'. Our courses are run in over 50 locations throughout the borough of Luton.

In the Community Learning programme you will find courses which offer you the opportunity to start learning as a complete beginner or to join a course which will help you to improve the skills you already have.  Once you have started learning, you can move from one level to the next to keep learning more or you can switch to a different subject to begin learning a new skill.  Community Learning courses can be a great way to prepare to move on to professional qualifications and training which are available through our Business and Skills course programme. 

The Community Learning programme includes courses on:

• Art & Craft – Drawing & painting; Mark making & printing; Creative Textiles; Floristry & Flower Arranging; Sugar Decoration; Sewing & Dressmaking and many other crafts
• Health, Beauty & Holistics – Henna Painting; Massage; Make-up & skincare; Manicure; Threading; Meditation; Reiki and Relaxation 
• IT – Creative Computing; Digital Image formatting; E-mail; Internet; Spreadsheets; Word processing and more
• Languages – Dutch; French; German; Italian; Spanish; Swedish; Urdu and more.
