Enjoying Books Together
This free 5 week course is intended to help parents and carers use ideas that help encourage children to read. You will discover a variety of activities to help develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. This course is aimed at parents and carers with a child or children aged 3 to 7.
What will I learn?
During this course you will learn about:

how to enjoy reading books with your child to help develop their vocabulary

making and using props, puppets, story cards and other exciting ideas to help develop literacy skills

a variety of strategies you can use to encourage your child to create new stories and characters
By taking part in this course you may find that your own confidence in reading improves and this will help you to work with your child to develop their reading skills.
