Keeping Up With Your Child Maths Key Stage 2 (children aged 8-11)
This free 5 week course is intended to help parents and carers to understand how children learn maths in school today. It will also give parents and carers an opportunity to update and further develop their own maths skills in order to be able to support their child’s maths.
What will I learn?
During this course you will learn about:

a range of mathematical concepts that your child will be using in school

reasoning skills used to solve mathematical problems

the methods and strategies currently used in school to help engage your child with maths
Through taking part in this course you will find that your own confidence and self-esteem in maths will also improve.
