Apprenticeship Incentive Payments

Employers, don’t miss out on the government apprentice incentive payment. Any size business, in any sector is able to access an Incentive Payment for hiring a new apprentice.

Hiring an apprentice is a productive and effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce.

  • 86% of employers said apprenticeships helped them develop skills relevant to their organisation

  • 78% of employers said apprenticeships helped them improve productivity

  • 74% of employers said apprenticeships helped them improve the quality of their product or service

An apprentice can be a sustainable investment in skills to support your business as the economy recovers.

You can spend the incentive payment on anything to support your organisation’s costs, from facilities and travel to uniforms and salaries. This is in addition to the £1,000 payment the government already gives to help employers meet the needs of certain groups of apprentices in the workplace.
