Mental Health First Aid & Welfare Support

Learning, working, and doing household duties all at once can sometimes have an effect on our mental health. Mental health is like physical health: everybody has it and we need to take care of it.

If you are feeling low or are in need of some support, you can, if you wish, talk to one of our Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders®). Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders®) can offer initial support through non-judgemental listening and guidance.

* Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders®) have had intensive training but are not trained to be therapists or psychiatrists. Their role is to be able to offer non-judgemental listening support and signposting.

Welfare Support

We have a welfare officer who can offer help and guidance to anyone affected by personal, domestic or work-related problems and can support wellbeing.

If you wish to discuss a safeguarding issue please contact a safeguarding champion.
