Luton Council’s bike recycling scheme aims to increase sustainable travel across the town, helping to reduce congestion and improve air quality and get low cost bikes out in to the community.

They collect pre-loved bikes from the Luton recycle centres or Recycle Your Cycle. Suitable bikes are then restored to a roadworthy condition ready for use again and available to buy.

If you’re in need of a bike and on a budget, please email safercycling@luton.gov.uk for a catalogue.

If you happen to have a bike you no longer want and you’d like to donate it, you can drop off any unwanted bikes at your local household recycle centre or at the workshop (address below).
