The council is committed to ensuring COVID-19 vaccines are accessible to everyone in Luton and recognise for some residents, the cost and having to travel to a vaccination site can be a barrier to getting vaccinated.

To address this, they have launched a new pilot initiative called Luton Vaxi Cabs. The COVID-19 secure taxis will ferry anyone living in LU1 - LU4 to any of the vaccination sites in Luton.
