The Disability Resource Centre

The Disability Resource Centre is a user-led charity, with over 25 years of experience working with disabled people. We aim to provide free services empowering people of all ages affected by disability or health conditions to fulfil their potential and aspirations. Disabled people, their families and carers turn to us for expert guidance and support in many areas of their lives.

Services include information and advice, support for carers, direct payments services, welfare benefits advice, equipment for daily living, peer-led groups, training, support for employers, training in personal and skills development and employment support.

We work collaboratively working closely with local authorities, NHS, voluntary and community sector, Jobcentre Plus, and funders to provide person centred services to individuals leading the lasting impact that empower and support our service-users.
