Step Up to Level 3 Early Years

This is a short 4 week course, starting in the summer, for anyone who is interested in studying for a Level 3 Early Years qualification.

In this course you will have the opportunity to learn about what the level 3 qualification involves before committing to the two-year course. You will start to develop the study skills needed to be successful in this qualification. You will also be assessed for your suitability for the Level 3 qualification.

This course will be delivered online with a teacher.

Our entry requirements for our Level 3 qualification are:

you must already have a Level 2 qualification, in early years or supporting in schools (TA)
you must be working at Functional Skills Level 2 in both English and Maths and ideally have a current level 2 Functional Skills in English or an equivalent.
you must be employed within a childcare setting for a minimum of 2 full days a week or equivalent i.e. 12-15 hours a week. (Exceptions could apply)
