The fund is designed to specifically support and encourage VCS and other third sector and not for profit organisations, in delivering innovative learning that supports disadvantaged adults by helping to support their progression, enabling them to move to further learning opportunities, volunteering or employment.

J G struggled with basic personal hygiene and simple tasks in managing her money. Her objective was to build her confidence and to be able to things for herself and be independent and to look for volunteer work.
On completion J G feels the course has helped her to be more confident and assertive in taking care of herself better. She now is managing her own money and looking for volunteer work working with animals and has been in contact with animal care companies. She is in contact with volunteer companies and is focusing on finding work and working on moving on to living independently.
