During International Women’s Day 2023, we invited our learners to celebrate with us during an open and inclusive day of speakers, presentations and celebration.

The event featured a number of stalls from Luton Sexual Health, Breast Awareness, Total Wellbeing and more. We also gave our learners the chance to promote their small businesses and sell their products. One of our female learners gave free mehndi designs for those interested.

In addition, we were joined by some exceptional speakers and senior business leaders: Councillor Sameera Saleem(the mayor of Luton), Councillor Fatima Begum, some of our old students, and more. They shared their experiences, challenges and what they've managed to overcome in creating a more equal world.
