Luton Council was pleased to host a “Meet The Buyer” event on the 11th of August 2026. This was a market engagement event to share information on the upcoming launch of the Luton Skills For Work Fund. This was for a mix of accredited and non-accredited provision. The event allowed providers to ask questions and make suggestions about the tenders.
This event was designed to:

Establish what local provision was in the area and gauge interest in delivery

Help shape the tenders, which were launched after the event

Build capacity by supporting smaller organisations to understand the tender process

Introduce organisations to the Proactis platform
