Luton Adult Learning dressed festively and held a cake sale to raise money for Keech Hospice
From the 8th until the 12th of December 2025 staff at Luton Adult Learning got festive for Keech Hospice.
Keech Hospice is a local charity that provides comprehensive care and support for people facing life-limiting illnesses, ensuring dignity and comfort for patients and their loved ones from diagnosis through to end-of-life. They offer services including symptom management, crisis support, bereavement care, and complementary therapies, funded largely by the community.
Throughout the week Luton Adult Learning staff put on their Christmas jumpers and donned festive accessories in order to raise money for this fantastic cause. Donations were given each day a member of staff wore a festive outfit. We also held a cake sale for learners and staff on the 10th of December. The cake sale was so popular we decided to hold another one on the 11th December helping us raise even more money for Keech Hospice.
Luton Adult Learning raised a total of £160! Special thanks go to Sharon Gillas who organised and ran the event.
Thank you to everyone that supported us, gave donations and to all those that got involved.
