This free, six-hour, 3 session course is suitable for anyone interested in working as a teaching assistant or midday supervisor. It will help you to identify the skills and qualifications required to work in a supporting role in a school and to plan your next steps to gaining work in this sector. You will also learn about some of the basics around safeguarding children, the importance of health and safety and promoting equality and diversity in schools.
There are no specific requirements to join this course, other than a basic level of English.
