This Easter the Family Learning team at Luton Adult Learning are running some fun Art for Wellbeing activities for families.
Come and join us for some exciting ‘Art for Wellbeing’ activities in Arndale House during the Easter holidays, by signing up to one of our free* family learning workshops.
The workshops will focus on the topics of space and weather and are aimed at children aged 4-7 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and you can bring up to two children per adult. The sessions are free subject to eligibility (see eligibility details below).

Wednesday 8 April 2026: (Space: Navigating friendships) starts at 10.15am and finishes at 12.15pm and (Weather: Noticing feelings) starts at 1pm and finishes at 3pm.
Thursday 9 April 2026: (Weather: Noticing feelings) starts at 10.15am and finishes at 12.15pm and (Space: Navigating friendships) starts at 1pm and finishes at 3pm.

Cost:
This event is free (see the eligibility information below). Materials will be provided but if you have any spare recyclable boxes please bring them with you.

Activity Session Topics
Space: Navigating friendships - Making a spaceship/robot (for age 4-7 years)
In this workshop your child will make a spaceship or a robot using recyclable materials. Through this activity they will explore the idea of friendship and connection with family.
Weather: Noticing feelings - Making a weather watch (for age 4-7 years)
In this workshop your child will make a weather watch using recyclable materials. Through this activity they will explore their feelings and notice how they change over time.
Additional Information
Family Learning is an opportunity for parents and carers to learn alongside their child with the guidance of one of the expert family learning teachers.
We kindly ask that you:

Agree to take full responsibility for your child or children during sessions.

Remain with the child/children at all times.

Ideally only bring two children per adult. If you wish to bring more than two children, please speak to us and where possible try and bring another adult to support those children.
