This Easter the Family Learning team at Luton Adult Learning ran some fun Art for Wellbeing activities for families.

The Luton Adult Learning Family Learning Team ran some fun 'Art for Wellbeing' activities at Arndale House during the Easter holidays.

The workshops focused on the topics of space and weather and were aimed at children aged 4-7 years olds.

Family Learning is an opportunity for parents and carers to learn alongside their child with the guidance of one of the expert family learning teachers.

In the Space workshop children had the opportunity to learn about 'Navigating friendships' by creating a spaceship or a robot using recyclable materials. Through this activity they explored the the idea of friendship and connection with family.

In the Weather workshop children learnt about 'Noticing feelings' and had the chance to create a weather watch using recyclable materials. Through this activity they explored their feelings and noticed how they change over time.

Look out for more Family Learning workshops taking place soon.
